	Lirio Negroni-Rodriguez, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Puerto Rican/Latino/a Studies. Her research interests are in mental health, child abuse, and substance abuse prevention among Latino families. Presently, she is one of the co-investigators in charge of evaluating the effectiveness of the Latino Family Connection Program, a federally funded family-focused prevention program administered by the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
