Joyce Hamilton, Executive Director
Adjunct Professor at the University of Hartford since 1988 and a leader in Hartford's Caribbean community, Joyce Hamilton is the former Director of the Office of Multicultural Programs at the University of Hartford. Joyce is currently a Board member of the National Association of Social Workers CT Chapter, past Board member of the Hartford Interval House, President of the Caribbean American Network of Democrats (CaribNet). She has expertise and interest in areas related to race and ethnic relations, workplace diversity and immigration and social policy. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Social Work and is a Ph.D. candidate at the Florence Heller Graduate School for Advanced Studies in Social Welfare, Brandeis University.
